A Bit o' History
The Yorkville Players premiered as a local community
theatre group in the Fall of 1990, with a production of "The New
Odd Couple", the female version of Neil Simon's comedy. A combination of the hard work and imagination of its
founding members, the use of the excellent facilities of the
McCelvey
Center, and continued support from the community at large, has resulted
in The Yorkville Players becoming a peerless local community theatre
group.
